What we believe
God
God is the loving Creator and sovereign Ruler of all things, existing eternally in a perfect, holy community of three coequal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Though He spans all time and holds all authority, He invites us into His life through His boundless grace.

God the Father
As the first person of the Trinity, God the Father orders all things according to His own purpose and grace, creating everything through Jesus Christ. As the absolute, all-powerful ruler of all, He is intimately involved in creation, daily life, and our redemption.

God the Son, Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and co-equal with the Father. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins by dying on the cross. Three days later, He rose triumphantly from the dead, defeating sin and death forever. Now seated in glory, He will one day return to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, and indwells every Christian from the moment of faith. He is our divine Helper- granting power for holy living, wisdom in Scripture, and daily guidance- and we strive to live under His active leadership.

The Bible
The Bible is God's Word. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. It provides God’s redemptive plan and purpose for mankind. Because the Bible is inspired by God, it is infallible, inerrant, and complete.

Humanity
People are made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by “sin” which separates people from God.

Man
Man was directly and immediately created by God in His image and likeness. Man was created free of sin with a rational nature, intelligence, volition, self- determination, and moral responsibility to God (Gen. 2:7, 15-25; Is. 3:9). Because all men were in Adam, a nature corrupted by Adam's sin has been transmitted to all men of all ages, Jesus Christ being the only exception. All men are thus sinners by nature, by choice, and by divine declaration.

Salvation
All people sin and, therefore, all people need to be delivered or “saved”. Salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works (Jn. 1:12; Eph. 1:7; 23-10; 1 Pet. 1:18-19) Only through faith in the finished and complete work of Jesus Christ who died, as our substitute, on the Cross can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.

Eternal Security
Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his/her life by faith alone. Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.

Eternity
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is the second death. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

Baptism
Baptism is a symbolic act illustrating the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on our behalf and our subsequent profession of faith in Him. Baptism is not necessary for salvation, but is strongly associated with salvation as it best illustrates our new identity with Jesus Christ. The mode of baptism shall be immersion.

The judgment of the lost
Following the release of Satan after the thousand-year reign of Christ, Satan and his army will be defeated. Following this, Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone whereupon Christ, who is the judge of all men, will resurrect the dead and judge the great and small at the Great White Throne Judgment.
The resurrection of the unsaved dead to judgment will be a physical resurrection, whereupon receiving their judgment, they will be committed to an eternal conscious punishment in the lake of fire.

Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is an ordinance of the church. It was instituted when the Lord had the Passover meal before His crucifixion. We observe the Lord’s Supper on a regular basis in remembrance of Jesus Christ’s atonement for our sins. It is a proclamation of His death and an assurance of His second coming. It is privilege for the members of our church to come together as one body and participate in the Lord’s Supper. The elements of bread and wine are used as symbols of Christ’s body that was broken and His blood that was shed for the remission of our sins.
