LIGHTHOUSE BAPTIST CHURCH SUNDAY SCHOOL
LBC Sunday School equips every age with a strong foundation in Scripture and a supportive community to ask questions and grow.
All ages welcome!
Sundays at 9:45 a.m. (before service)
PRE-K TO FIFTH GRADE
Elementary
Wonder.
At the elementary stage, learning is driven by narrative, imagination, and joyful curiosity. Kids explore the overarching narrative of Scripture discovering who God is and how deeply they are loved by Him. The primary goal is to build awe, belonging, and a delight in the Scriptures through memorable engagement.
SIXTH TO EIGHTH GRADE
Middle School
Discovery.
Middle school marks a shift from receiving stories to actively investigating the text. By connecting individual passages back to the big picture, preteens discover how the entire Bible fits together into one cohesive account.
NINTH TO TWELFTH
High School
Ownership.
In high school, the focus transitions to critical thinking, worldview formation, and personal conviction. The hope is to help students shift from head knowledge to answering "Why do I believe this?" and "How does this shape my identity?"
AGE 18 AND ABOVE
Adults
Immersion.
Each week in adult Sunday school, we focus on a single chapter of the Bible. The goal isn’t to race through pages, but to deeply understand, engage, and absorb the text together- unpacking its context, language, and practical application so you can process it and carry it into daily life.
