What We Believe
God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. God is eternal, holy and sovereign. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.

God the Father
God the Father is the first person of the Trinity, who orders and disposes all things according to His Own purpose and grace. He by Jesus Christ created all things. As the only absolute and omnipotent ruler in the universe, He is sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption.

God the Son - Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

Isaiah 9:6
Colossians 1:15-16
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible
The Bible is God's Word. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. It provides God’s redemptive plan and purpose for mankind. Because the Bible is inspired by God, it is infallible, inerrant, and complete.

Humanity
People are made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by “sin” which separates people from God.

9:1-2

Psalms 8:3-6

Man
Man was directly and immediately created by God in His image and likeness. Man was created free of sin with a rational nature, intelligence, volition, self- determination, and moral responsibility to God (Gen. 2:7, 15-25; Is. 3:9). Because all men were in Adam, a nature corrupted by Adam's sin has been transmitted to all men of all ages, Jesus Christ being the only exception. All men are thus sinners by nature, by choice, and by divine declaration.

5:10-12
Psalms 14:1-3
Jer. 17:9
Salvation
All people sin and, therefore, all people need to be delivered or “saved”. Salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works (Jn. 1:12; Eph. 1:7; 23-10; 1 Pet. 1:18-19) Only through faith in the finished and complete work of Jesus Christ who died, as our substitute, on the Cross can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.

Eternal Security
Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his/her life by faith alone. Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.

Eternity
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is the second death. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
Rom. 6:23
John 3:16
1 John 5:11-13
Baptism
Baptism is a symbolic act illustrating the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on our behalf and our subsequent profession of faith in Him. Baptism is not necessary for salvation, but is strongly associated with salvation as it best illustrates our new identity with Jesus Christ. The mode of baptism shall be immersion.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave into his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

The judgment of the lost
Following the release of Satan after the thousand-year reign of Christ, Satan and his army will be defeated. Following this, Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone whereupon Christ, who is the judge of all men, will resurrect the dead and judge the great and small at the Great White Throne Judgment.
The resurrection of the unsaved dead to judgment will be a physical resurrection, whereupon receiving their judgment, they will be committed to an eternal conscious punishment in the lake of fire.

Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is an ordinance of the church. It was instituted when the Lord had the Passover meal before His crucifixion. We observe the Lord’s Supper on a regular basis in remembrance of Jesus Christ’s atonement for our sins. It is a proclamation of His death and an assurance of His second coming. It is privilege for the members of our church to come together as one body and participate in the Lord’s Supper. The elements of bread and wine are used as symbols of Christ’s body that was broken and His blood that was shed for the remission of our sins.
